Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) August 19, 2013 -- Students at Olympic High School, Off Campus Learning Center, and the Independent Study Program, are getting a special treat this fall; brand-new backpacks. At its 2nd annual Backpack to School Event, which will take place on August 27th at 5pm in the courtyard at 1447 Lincoln Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401. NMS Properties is providing the must-have school supplies to 60 students who otherwise may not have otherwise been able to afford them. Food and refreshments will be provided by food sponsors, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Fresh Brothers Pizza.
Last year’s event (which was a huge success) included contributions from NMS’ business partners and friends who generously donated supplies to the students who attend Olympic High School, Independent Study Program, and the Off-Campus Learning Center. Contributions were also received from NMS Apartment residents as well as from members of the community.
NMS Properties is currently accepting donations for this wonderful cause. All donations collected will be distributed to students at the backpack to school event.

• Blue, Black and Red Pens
• Hand-Wipes
