Stunning Wall Art and Home Stylings from New British Interiors Firm A Shade Wilder
(PRWEB UK) 18 August 2013 -- A Shade Wilder is a new online experience showcasing an exclusive interiors range, styled in the UK - from wallpaper, murals and wall art to sculpture, glass, mirrors and cushions.
The team at A Shade Wilder describe the launch collection as: “Intended for homeowners who are not afraid to come out of their shells and make a statement.”
“Flamingos dance on our wallpapers, monkeys nestle among our cushions and statuesque accessories rise from our tables, contributing to the very first collection from A Shade Wilder.
“We feel that dressing our homes can be as fun and important as getting ready for a date, or a party, and should help us reflect our desire for romance as well as to provide a warm welcome to friends and family.
“We extend our creative thinking within our homes and the passionate, sometimes risqué - and always stylish - pieces we have created can be used to reflect our innermost desires,” they said.
A Shade Wilder is not just a destination for trend-led consumers - at its core are the unique relationships it has with the craftsmen and artists who help inform and inspire the collections.
Designers who have contributed include Kris Hardy, who has turned his hand to painting on some exquisite three-dimensional torsos for A Shade Wilder. There are works by Maxwell, an artist with a passion for high fashion who is inspired by icons and muses of the silver screen such as Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly. The new collection also takes inspiration from legendary British artists such as David Wright, one of the 20th Century’s most celebrated pin-up artists, who created the glamorous pin-up ‘Lovelies’ for The Sketch during World War II.
Based in the North West, A Shade Wilder celebrates some of the best of British Design talent as well as a hand-picked selection of overseas artists, plus a great many of its products will be made or styled here in the UK.
