Booskerdoo Coffee Celebrates Opening of Second Location with Free Coffee Day
Fair Haven, NJ (PRWEB) August 18, 2013 -- Booskerdoo Fresh Roasted Coffee Co., the Monmouth Beach-based micro coffee roaster, announced the official Grand Opening of the local company’s second location at 793 River Road in the town of Fair Haven, NJ with a Free Coffee Day, an all-day event scheduled to take place on Friday, August 30.
The new shop is currently open and already conducting brisk business, serving the freshly roasted coffee (never more than a week old) and fresh pastry items baked on the premises. To celebrate, Booskerdoo’s owners and founders James (roastmaster) and Amelia Caverly (head baker) are buying a 10 oz. cup of drip coffee for everyone who comes in to the Fair Haven location from 6 am until 5 pm. Ten ounce cappuccinos and lattes, made from Booskerdoo’s famous Dancing Goat Espresso Blend, will be offered for the special price of $1.
Amelia and James took over the space, formerly Java Stop, in mid January of this year. They took five months to conduct a nearly complete renovation of the 80-year-old building in Fair Haven’s historic district. This included opening the ceiling to expose the original wood beams and a previously unknown loft, installing new floors, a new 23’ bar made from recycled pallet wood from Sickles Market, the removal of a wall to expand the space by 300 square feet, seating by large windows, and a commercial bakery.
“We are extremely excited to be a member of beautiful Fair Haven and its surrounding river communities,” says Roastmaster James.
Head Baker Amelia added, “Free Coffee Day is our way of saying thank you for the great reception so far, and to invite everyone to come check out this space that we know everyone will enjoy.”
Booskerdoo coffee roasts daily from its café in Monmouth Beach, never selling any beans past its one week flavor peak, “Great coffee should never sit in a warehouse, which is why we don’t use one,” says Roastmaster James.
