The Institute for Excellence in Sales & Business Development (IES&BD) announced that business team-building mastermind Gregg Gregory, Certified Speaking Professional, will present his internationally acclaimed “Strategies for Increasing Business by Including Customers on your Team” workshop at its final program of the summer, this Friday, August 23 at the USA Today Building in Tyson's Corner, VA. The IES&BD regularly holds workshops and events for selling professionals, sales managers, and service professionals who need to sell. Previous speakers have included “SPIN Selling” author Neil Rackham and “The Challenger Sale” author Matt Dixon.
Gregory presents around the world on sales strategies, programs, and skills development, but he is most prominently known as the world’s most renowned expert on teams and the roles they play in the selling process.
“There are two dynamic aspects of teamwork that most sales professionals fail to recognize,” said Gregory. “First is the failure to include the customer as part of the team. This is a leading cause of damaged relationships and lost business, not to mention future referrals.”
“Second, is the failure to utilize the operations team in nurturing the relationship with the client,” he said. “At this program, I’ll share tips on people reading and behavioral recognition to assist sales reps in identifying the style of those they are working with, internally and externally, to build those crucial relationships.”
“With Gregg’s techniques in place, attendees can build a powerful culture with a team-based chemistry that is inclusive of everyone,” said Fred Diamond, Founder of the IES&BD and President of DIAMOND Strategic Marketing. “Gregg will show that customers, operations and support personnel can be part of the selling professional’s highly energized team which will result in stronger relationships, more highly qualified referrals, and greater profitability.”
Pre-registration tickets, which include hot breakfast, are $79 or $95 at the door. This program will be held at the USA Today/Gannett Building, 7950 Jones Branch Drive in McLean, VA. It will begin at 7:30am with networking and breakfast; the speaker will begin at 8:15am. The workshop will conclude at 10:30am. Register here.
