Pii’s Creative Work Wins Multiple Communicator Awards, Aster Awards

Pii, a direct marketing company based in Bloomington, Illinois, recently won five prestigious Communicator Awards and Aster Awards for its creative work on direct mail projects for four clients.

Progressive Impressions International (Pii) of Bloomington, Illinois, and four of its clients are celebrating recognition received in the 19th annual Communicator Awards and the 2013 Aster Awards.

In the Communicator Awards, American Family Insurance received a Silver Award for the inaugural issue of its member magazine, “American Dreams.” Featuring cover model and business mogul Kathy Ireland, the magazine provides inspirational stories and interesting facts that encourage readers to pursue and protect their dreams.

In addition, Pii client PTPN ― the nation’s leading organization of physical, occupational and speech therapists in independent practice ― received two Silver Awards for separate direct mail campaigns intended to promote awareness of and membership in the group.

With more than 6,000 entries received from across the nation and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.

For the fifth consecutive year, Pii and two of its healthcare clients have won Aster Awards, which recognizes the nation's most talented healthcare marketing professionals for excellence in advertising.

Union Hospital, based in Elkton, Maryland, won a Silver Aster Award for its “Good Health” newsletter. Published quarterly, “Good Health” informs members of the community about new hospital services and technology, recognizes outstanding staff members, offers health news and tips, and advertises educational and health screening programs. Pii writes, designs and produces the newsletter.

Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH), in Aspen, Colorado, received a Silver Aster Award for its 2013 community calendar. Pii designs and produces the fully customized calendar. The calendar is especially popular for featuring inspirational quotes and photographs taken by the hospital’s staff in the Aspen community and throughout the world.
