Visible Lighting Anticipate the 2014 Lighting Design Awards
(PRWEB UK) 20 August 2013 -- The article, Have You Entered the LDAs, published 16th August in Lighting.co.uk reveals that new to the panel are Barry Ayling from John Lewis, as well as Geoff Archenold from inGan Research. Winner of last year’s prestigious Lighting Designer of the Year award, Florence Lam, will also be amongst the panel, accompanied by luminaires such as Xavier Fulbright, Associate Director of Lighting Design at AECOM. The 2014 exhibition is to include a new category- Manufacturer of the Year, and entrants across all categories are being urged to enter by the 6th September for the event, which is set to take place at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
Naturally interested by all updates and developments within the lighting world, the team at Visible Lighting were quick to take note of this year’s judging panel. Heavily involved in the LED industry, the specialists are hoping that light emitting diodes are recognised for their part in the development of the lighting industry. A representative shares their thoughts on the subject.
“We expect the 2014 Lighting Design Awards to be just as successful as last year. It’s always great to see creative work within the industry rewarded. High quality and energy efficient LED bulbs are driving the market forward at an impressive rate so we would expect a high proportion of category winners to include LEDs in their work.”
