Lowry Computer Products Announces Panasonic Toughbook H2 Addition to AIT IV Contract

The Panasonic Toughbook H2 is a 10.1-inch dual touch tablet PC built to serve as the ultimate productivity tool for mobile workers. Running the full Windows® 7 Professional operating system, the Toughbook H2 features an optional integrated contactless RFID and SmartCard reader, daylight-viewable screen, twin hot-swappable batteries and optional embedded wireless connectivity. Its polycarbonate-encased magnesium alloy chassis is built with an IP65 certified sealed all-weather design, and is MIL-STD-810G certified for drops up to 6 feet, shock, vibration, rain, dust, sand, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperature, temperature shock, humidity and explosive atmospheres. The US Army PD AMIS AIT IV award is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. AMIS is the Army Product Management Office for total RFID and AIT solutions.
