RL Liquidators Joins the Fight Against Cancer

Another company involved in the self storage industry joins other vendors, operators and tenants in supporting underfunded cancer research.

'It all adds up when we have many people, each giving small amounts,' said Kure It founder, Barry Hoeven, himself a storage owner. 'This is the premise we have used to get Kure It to the $2 million mark in just a few years.'

RL Liquidators, an online liquidation and auction company, is the latest member of the self storage industry to join forces with Kure It Cancer Research. Through the partnership, RL Liquidators will promote Kure It on their website and encourage auction buyers to be part of the efforts to fund cancer research.

Every invoice generated on both the RL Online Auctions and RL Storage Auctions sites has a brief description of Kure It, with an option for the winning bidder to add $1.00 donation to their invoice at the time of payment. In addition, there are more detailed descriptions of Kure It on the auction home pages and RL Liquidators web page that link to the Kure It site, where visitors can make donations directly.

Larry Morgan, co-owner of RLL, said, “I am so excited to be working with Kure It to help raise both money and awareness for underfunded cancer research. As one who has lost a family member to cancer, I understand that nobody knows the pain and heartache of the fight against any cancer better than cancer patients and their families. When you and your loved ones are fighting for life, the type of cancer doesn’t matter, but the hope that comes from people and organizations dedicated to helping you win that fight does. I am very pleased to be working with Kure It to fight alongside cancer patients and their families to help find a cure.”

Kure It has developed several programs unique to the self storage industry, all designed at raising critical dollars to fund innovative research. Through “Store for the Kure” and “Round Up for Research,” storage facilities and their tenants are making an impact in the way kidney and other cancers are treated. Many state associations and their members, especially vendors, have created unique ways to raise small amounts from their customers. “It all adds up when we have many people, each giving small amounts,” said Kure It founder, Barry Hoeven, himself a storage owner. “This is the premise we have used to get Kure It to the $2 million mark in just a few years.”

About RL Liquidators
RL Liquidators was founded in 2008 by Ryan Babineau and Larry Morgan with the simple thought that there must be a better way to the liquidation process. By using current technology and cultural shifts in how our modern society communicates and interacts, we are able to provide our customers with more tools than any other liquidation company. Those tools allow us to truly focus on the customer and provide options specially designed to best meet their immediate liquidation needs, while producing higher returns than other “traditional” liquidation models. In 2012, we made those tools available to the self storage industry and the response has been tremendous. As facility owners and managers come to realize the many great advantages online storage auctions have to offer over traditional live auctions, they learn what we have always believed; RL Liquidators with their online storage auctions are the future of the storage auction industry.
