Our strong relationship with Acumatica will ensure that Visma.net customers will have access to a market leading, scalable and future-proof platform that will grow with them.
Kirkland, WA, USA, and Oslo, Norway (PRWEB) August 20, 2013
Acumatica, the world’s fastest-growing provider of cloud-based ERP solutions to small and medium-sized companies (SMBs) and Visma, the leading provider of business software solutions to SMBs in Northern Europe, announced Visma.net, a complete business solution, including a white-labeled version of Acumatica’s increasingly popular ERP solution as one of the key components, is ready for prime time.
“Visma.net is a key milestone in Visma’s history,” the company’s CEO, Øystein Moan, said. “Our product is ready for business. More and more companies throughout our region are moving to the cloud and we want to offer our customers what they want and need. Our strong relationship with Acumatica will ensure that Visma.net customers will have access to a market leading, scalable and future-proof platform that will grow with them.”
Yury Larichev, Acumatica’s CEO, said: “Visma.net is the result of almost two years of strong technology and business partnership between Visma and Acumatica. It’s a huge achievement for both our companies.”
Christian Lindberg, VP Partners and Solutions at Acumatica, said: “Visma’s many best-in-class customers will help make Visma.net including the Acumatica technology the de facto standard in cloud-based ERP in Europe. The success of Visma.net demonstrates Acumatica’s commitment to work hand in hand with its OEM partners as they deploy a localized version of the Acumatica solution.”
Acumatica’s relationship with Visma began in September 2011, when Visma, a Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. portfolio company, invested in Acumatica, joining the ranks of other early investors. In the months since the agreement, extensive product testing and customization by Visma, working together with Acumatica, resulted in a final product uniquely suited to the countries Visma serves. This launched in the summer of 2012.
Customers in the northern European countries - Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands — now have access to a variety of pricing and application solutions. Basic modules are designed to streamline critical business areas, such as business intelligence, financial management, and payroll.
Moan announced that future refinements to Visma.net are currently in the works. These refinements should guarantee that Visma customers will have access to a state-of-the-art cloud-ERP solution now and for years to come.
More than 300 of Acumatica’s top partner attendees are currently attending the 2013 Partner Summit in Leesburg, VA.
