Consultant Bryan Wilks and Engineer Sean Kelly Team up to Invent a Clear-view Packaging System
Jenks, OK (PRWEB) August 20, 2013 -- There's an old Proverb (Proverbs 8:12) that says, "Prudence is the practical application of wisdom, which leads to 'witty inventions'", and thanks to a new patent pending invention created by a renowned flexible packaging consultant and expert engineer, things have become a lot easier for the appliance industry.
Bryan Wilks, a well-known packaging design consultant, partnered with engineer Sean Kelly to invent a clear-view packaging system for packaging products.
The invention, according to both Wilks and Kelly, has major implications for the global multi-billion dollar major appliance industry, which is expecting yearly growth in demand through 2015 to reach a volume of 400 million units.
In fact, a CEO of a major appliance manufacturer stated, “This design allows us to see damage before it leaves our production facilities and reduces, if not eliminates, product claims. It’s a big deal.”
Wilks and Kelly explained that the clear-view packaging system is comprised of a bottom tray for receiving the product; the bottom tray has a base portion and a plurality of edge portions.
In addition, Wilks and Kelly said, the clear-view packaging system includes a top tray disposed on the top of the product. The top tray has a base portion, a plurality of edge portions and a plurality of horizontal top tray corners.
“I believe no problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it and I will do anything short of sin to innovate for my clients," said Wilks, a certified packaging specialist providing marketing, sales, branding, and development consulting for companies around the world.
The clear-view packaging system also includes at least one strip of banding for securing the bottom tray, the product and the top tray together wherein a lifting member of a lift vehicle can be positioned between at least one of the plurality of edge portions of the top tray and the product so that the product can be lifted and transported.
