One woman's chance encounter with Vincent van Gogh.

'The Red-Haired Man- by Marie Tapia

Not only is this an historical and romantic light-read, it’s a story that relates to people’s tendencies today.

With a handsome and successful husband, three beautiful children, and a mansion full of servants, what more could a girl want?

'The Red-Haired Man', by Marie Tapia, takes readers back in time to 19th century France to meet Colette, a young French woman who seeks more than luxury and the monotony of family-life. A new breath of hope appears when the red-headed man known as Vincent van Gogh encourages her to embrace other artistic passions. Torn by society’s expectations and her deep desire for more out of life, Colette decides to take a risk for love.

“Not only is this an historical and romantic light-read, it’s a story that relates to people’s tendencies today,” said Tapia. “The character reflects our desire for more and the mistakes we often make to find what we are missing.”

Readers will enjoy following the love story that develops between the couple, as well as finding themselves trapped in a time where life moves a little slower, love seems a little more hopeful and beauty is awaiting at every turn.
