The Grommet is able to launch products faster than any other retail platform and that’s evident in the fact that just four short months ago, all Frogglez had was a prototype.

In March, 2013, The Grommet met Dr. Christian Hahn, a dentist from Louisville, KY at their Product Pitch Competition and crowned his company, Made By My Dad LLC, first runner-up. He entered the contest with only a prototype of his hassle free, easy to use swim goggles for kids. The design is an innovative, updated take on traditional swim goggles yet their comfort and ease of use allows kids to put them on and take them off without assistance. The straps are made from a stretchy, and wide neoprene. Adjustments aren’t needed and they won’t pull or tug at the hair. They even float if kids need to take them off mid-swim.

As a father, Christian noticed the constant struggle with his own children’s goggles that were too difficult to put on and take off at the pool. He had the idea to create an easier alternative and partnered with The Grommet to help him make his idea a reality. In the last four months, The Grommet has partnered with Christian to assist with every aspect of launch including pricing, packaging and advice on distribution. The Grommet’s comment board also served as a way for Christian to gather critical feedback from customers such as price and design. What he found was that there is a also huge demand for adult goggles and he is now working on initial prototypes.

“The Grommet is able to launch products faster than any other retail platform and that’s evident in the fact that just four short months ago, all Frogglez had was a prototype. Our strong pattern recognition told us that Frogglez Goggles would be a hugely successful problem solver for a large audience. We can’t wait to see what Christian comes out with next,” says Jules Pieri, Co-Founder and CEO at The Grommet.

Christian credits The Grommet for his success and says “Frogglez Goggles was created by me. Yet the company was truly 'made' by launching on The Grommet. Little did I know that working with The Grommet would make my product, Frogglez Goggles, such an instant success. The staff at The Grommet treated me and my product like family from day one, making the process of launching a new product not only easy but fun and exciting.”

Frogglez Goggles are available on http://www.thegrommet.com for $24.95.
