Real Estate Scorecard has good news to share. Literally, the grass is greener at Reynolds Plantation this fall season! Avid golfers are gearing up for a fantastic golf season at Oconee Golf Course in Greensboro Georgia. Soon to be open to club members, the Rees Jones designed golf course will be unveiled as the most polished of all of the golf courses at Reynolds Plantation with its new renovations. The upscale Lake Oconee gated community is nestled beside one of the best Georgia lakes around and golfers are anxious to see what its community and new golf course can offer residents this year.
While the Oconee golf course design remains the same, members of Reynolds Plantation can look forward to playing on a different type of grass. The Oconee course will follow in the footsteps of its fellow Reynolds Plantation courses, Great Waters and Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, and upgrade its grass to hybrid bermudagrass. Other golf courses at Reynolds Plantation like The Landing and The Bob Cupp allow players to try their swing on TiffEagle grass. The greens upgrade is the newest grass type available to elite golf courses, and the hybrid bermudagrass is very durable and compliments the surrounding environment.
Other enhancements of the golf course are sure to be the talk of the town around one of the best Georgia lakes. The Practice Tee area was expanded to more than 12,000 sq ft. This expansion will further propel the reputation of the golf courses at Reynolds Plantation. The gorgeous landscapes and the exhilarating sensation while playing at one of the “Best Golf Courses” announced by Golfweek Magazine is a treat for all golfers.
For those looking to relax after a long day on the golfing terrain, this gated community on Lake Oconee has plenty of other activities to experience. After a long day on the golf course, players can retire to The Lake Club to sooth their muscles. The Lake Club offers a health and wellness center and a choice of indoor and outdoor pools. Members of this facility can host events on the premises or individually enjoy some time in the hot tub or pools overlooking Lake Oconee, one of the best Georgia lakes.
If the players of the golf courses at Reynolds Plantation are still energized from a fantastic day in the sun, there is plenty more to do in the local downtown areas. Reynolds Plantation is close to downtown Greensboro, Eatonton and Madison. These historic towns are filled with amazing Antebellum charm, popular fashion boutiques and to-die-for eateries outside of the gated communities. These options combined with the perfect playing ground for golfers makes Reynolds Plantation one of the leading gated communities on Lake Oconee.
Reynolds Plantation has a lot to offer residents and new retirees interested in relocating to the area. It is a place for avid golfers, fitness and tennis enthusiasts, boaters and people looking to enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings.
