OMGstorage.com will host an activity where girls pack larger boxes with a variety of smaller boxes and cylinder shapes helping girls develop spatial reasoning skills. Spatial reasoning skills or spatial intelligence is one of the eight kinds of intelligence and is the ability to recreate one’s visual experience and reasoning about shape, measurement, depiction and navigation. “At OMGstorage.com we always like to be involved with local charitable organizations, therefore, we are extremely excited to participate in these events with the Girl Scouts in our community,” says Victor Dante, CEO of OMGstorage.com. “As a father of two daughters both who are attending college, it is important that girls at a young age are exposed to STEM related activities further helping girls advance in physics, math, computer science and engineering.” While STEM job opportunities are growing, the number of students proficient and interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics is declining.
