GuitarControl.com Founder Reveals More Tips for Supercharged Lead Guitar Soloing in New Tutorial DVD to be Released Sept. 4
New york, NY (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- Hosted by ace guitarist and GuitarControl.com founder Claude Johnson, the program offers insights on guitar performance and techniques from a new perspective that the guitarist calls fluency. “Supercharged Soloing Made Simple” builds mastery through position shifting, three-notes-per-string riffs, rhythmic playing, tapping, hammering, and bending, as well as Johnson’s special “new sweep” and “double pivot” techniques.
In a second online video preview, Johnson gives a sneak peek into some of the supercharged techniques from the DVD that can be applied to both blues guitar solos and rock guitar performance. Using a Slash-like tone, he first demonstrates a flashy blues lick in the root position of A pentatonic that involves both sweeping and a triplet pull-off. A second lick, in the key of D at the tenth fret, shows bending and downward slides in both stepwise and intervallic moves. Johnson concludes the lead guitar lesson with a blazing three-notes-per-string hammer-on and tapping lick in D.
