MusicDish*China Books Blues Guitarist Pascal Cosimo to China Residency
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- MusicDish*China announced it has booked French blues guitarist & singer Pascal Cosimo to a residency at Oldwood Village, a livehouse in Jiaxing, China. Cosimo will performing six days a week as the houseband over the month of September.
Located on South Lake River Street, Oldwood Village is just one of several cultural establishments owned Zhejiang Old Wood Of Rural Leisure Culture Limited. Bordering Shanghai and Hangzhou, Oldwood Village is Jiaxing's first large-scale music venue with over 800 square meters able to accommodate 350 people. The venue has featured mainland Chinese bands such as heavy metal band Forever Wings and punk band Icing Dolls as well as foreign bands such as Voodoo (France), Peter Piek (Germany) and Jukebox (America).

Pascal Cosimo plays in the pure tradition of American blues rock, influenced by Chicago, Texas, Mississippi, Roots and Blues/Rock of the 70's. In 1999, he founded Cosimo & Co Blues Band who opened for Bill Perry in Marseille and participated in the 2002 album 'Toulon City Blues' directed by Tandem. The same year, the group opened for Popa Chubby at the Zenith Omega Live in Toulon. They have since performed at over 1000 concerts and festivals, and recently released their third album 'Blues is life.'
