New York, NY (PRWEB) August 21, 2013
Ada Investments, a New York City based investment platform focused on systematic investment solutions, is proud to announce that it has completed its merger with Behavior Capital, a Rio de Janeiro based systematic asset management firm. The combined firm will operate as part of Ada Investments and manage strategies in Brazil and other Latin American countries.
Behavior Capital was formed by Delano Franco, former Managing Director at BNY Mellon Brazil, and Dr. Marco Bonomo, EPGE economics professor. Senior partners include: Dr. Harrison Hong, John H. Scully ’66 Professor of Economics and Finance at Princeton University; Alessandra Souza, former Latam Equities PM at UBS Pactual; and Dr. Ruy Ribeiro, former executive director responsible for systematic strategies at JP Morgan. The partners will now become partners of Ada Investments Emerging Markets program.
“The integration of Behavior’s regional expertise and Ada’s international platform combines the best of both worlds to provide international investors access to uniquely positioned emerging markets strategies,” notes Ada Investments Founder & CEO Dr. Vinay Nair. “In an environment where specialized execution of emerging market strategies is increasingly important, this partnership is an important step in the development of Ada’s emerging markets platform.” “Behavior and Ada have been independently managing assets based on a common investment philosophy, so joining forces to enhance research and returns for clients is truly exciting,” said Delano Franco.
