The HCI Group Ranked No. 1 on Inc. Magazine's List of Fastest-Growing Healthcare Companies
Jacksonville, Fla. (PRWEB) August 22, 2013 -- Inc. magazine has announced the HCI Group, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based healthcare IT consultancy, as the nation’s fastest-growing healthcare company and third fastest-growing company overall for 2013, with a three-year sales growth of 24,544.8 percent, on its annual Inc. 500 list. The Inc. 500 showcases the nation's fastest-growing private companies and ranks them according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. Well-known companies such as Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Clif Bar, Microsoft, Vizio and Oracle previously gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500.
“It is humbling for the HCI Group to be recognized as an Inc. 500 company,” said Ricky Caplin, CEO and co-founder of the HCI Group. “We are grateful to our families and others who believed in us when we got started, to our employees for their hard work, to our clients for giving us the opportunity to serve them, and most of all to Jesus Christ, through whom all of this has been made possible.”
The 2013 Inc. 500 list was unveiled in the September issue of Inc. magazine, which is on newsstands now. To be considered for inclusion on the list, companies must have achieved a minimum growth of 1,900 percent from 2009 to 2012.
“For the last several years, we’ve focused on growing our footprint in hospitals across the country, and it is great to have that effort recognized and our reputation reinforced,” said Greg Jones, HCI Group president and co-founder. “Being recognized as an Inc. 500 company will further bolster our efforts as we move to expand the HCI Group internationally.”
Caplin and Jones started the company with the goal of bringing value and quality to the field of healthcare IT. They built the HCI Group’s reputation on the successful implementation of electronic health records for numerous leading healthcare institutions.
Today, the HCI Group offers a broad scope of IT solutions, helping hospitals plan, implement and sustain information technologies over the long term. Its services include enterprise IT system implementation and training, specialty service lines in optimization, clinical adoption, integration and testing, go-live and advisory services.
