CNL Growth Properties Announces Public Offering
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- CNL Growth Properties, Inc., a non-traded real estate investment trust strategically designed for growth, announced today that it has launched a follow-on offering of its common stock. The company seeks to raise up to $200 million in capital through a best-efforts public offering.
CNL Growth Properties has invested primarily in the development of multifamily communities in the Southeastern and Sun Belt regions of the United States, and currently owns eight such properties, six of which are still under construction. CNL Growth Properties intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to invest in additional multifamily development projects. The offering is scheduled to close on Dec. 31, 2013, although the board of directors can extend the offering at its discretion.
