Entertainment Industry Veteran Kate M. Romero Shares Her Wisdom on ActorsE Chat on ActorsEntertainment.com
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2013 -- From her very first acting role at age 27, in the iconic film Top Gun, alongside the talents of Tom Cruise, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and the late director Tony Scott, Kate M. Romero quickly proved to be a natural born entertainer and contributor in Hollywood. Romero will appear as a featured guest and be interviewed live on ActorsE Chat on ActorsEntertainment.com Tuesday, August 27th, at 10:00 am Pacific.
Romero credits her childhood (age 9-16) of growing up on an 80 acre Tobacco farm in rural Kentucky with a Well she drew water from daily for a family of nine due to their home having no running water. One other daily chore of Romero’s (besides working the fields, and stripping tobacco at harvest time) was carrying in cords of wood year in and year out to cook meals on a wood stove in the heat of summer, and for their pot belly stove in the bitter Winters. She credits this hard work for giving her the strength and fortitude to deal with any challenging situation she would face as an actor and later talent agent and talent manager in Hollywood. This inner toughness and tenacity matched with her outer beauty, charisma, and wisdom have helped her open up many doors for herself and the hundreds of acting careers she has nurtured over the years.
"As a single mom of a young son and working actress in the 1980’s & 90’s, I didn’t have the luxury to be afraid or to procrastinate and that helped me book acting jobs consistently," says Romero, who relocated to Hollywood from San Diego in 1984. "The need to provide for myself and my son helped me to learn to ‘work the system’ and be very creative when it came to auditioning and I later used these same gifts to attract great roles, and series for my acting clients. I have found that when people can take the emotions out of their challenges—all that’s left is wisdom."
During her ever expanding career, Romero has worked with or been associated with a virtual Who’s Who of A list Hollywood talent. To this day, she is still most excited about being cast as a "1940’s pin up girl" by Bob Hope in a Bob Hope Special to celebrate the 90th Birthday of U.S. Army General Jimmy Doolittle and working with many Hollywood legends including Jimmy Stewart, George Burns, Johnny Carson, Phyllis Diller, Charlton Heston, Shirley Jones and Don Knotts among many others. Hope has been a personal hero to Romero since she was in grade school and working with he and his wife Dolores Hope was a major life milestone.
Also innately a very intuitive and deeply spiritual person, she has been focused for more than a decade on raising consciousness in Hollywood. After an intervention was needed for one of Romero’s celebrity clients, she found and hired interventionist Jeff Van Vonderen, and later declared to him that he needed to have a television show, and ultimately came up with the original concept for the Emmy Award winning A&E Network Show "Intervention" which ran for 10 seasons and saved lives and helped thousands of families throughout the world. She was also the host of Spiritual Hollywood Radio for four years where every Tuesday night she interviewed remarkable thought leaders like Gary Renard, Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith, Mike Dooley, Jack Canfield, Gay Hendricks, Neale Donald Walsh, Dan Millman, and John Gray, to name only a few.
A natural born coach and gifted healer, Romero discovered that working in tandem with Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) certified hypnotherapists would be a great way to create a "system restore" template that she has been using since 2006 to help actors & others have an entirely new life blueprint…all in just one, life altering two-hour session. Quantum Hypnotherapy² (QH²) has proven time and time again to return every client to their ‘factory settings.’ She has directly helped hundreds of people give up addictions (from cigarettes to Methamphetamine to gambling) and remove all kinds of blocks and triggers, which has ultimately saved lives, careers, marriages and families.
"I am deeply passionate about having actors (and others) completely freed up to be their authentic voice and deliver on their full human potential," adds Romero. "I believe that acting is a calling and that each one of us has an opportunity to help tell stories that would not otherwise be told. We have a responsibility to help people around the world awaken to their own greatness as a result of truthful performances on screen."
With a solid sense of self, Romero met and married John Stellar, founder and president of Stellar Communications, the Public Relations company that is still best known for helping launch the global phenomenon book and film The Secret (2006-2007). Romero and Stellar enjoy a dream life together in Southern California along with their three "portable pooches" named Chewy, Louie and Spike.
