BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is launching a limited release Field Day IPA™ Beer, an India Pale Ale made with organic fresh hops and available only while supplies last.

"Fresh hops give the Field Day IPA™ an intense aroma and slightly citrusy taste, which accentuates its earthy, floral flavor," said Alex Puchner, Senior Vice President of Brewing Operations at BJ’s Restaurants.

BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is launching a limited release Field Day IPA™ Beer, an India Pale Ale made with organic fresh hops and available only while supplies last.

One of BJ’s most popular beers, the Field Day IPA™ is made from a variety of hops picked at the peak of the annual harvest in Northern California, and the fresh hops are added to the beer within 24 hours at regional breweries across the country. Because the Field Day IPA™ is made with fresh hops, the beer is only available in limited supply. This is the first year the award-winning brewery has distributed the fresh hop Field Day IPA™ to all BJ’s Restaurants locations nationwide.

“BJ’s is one of only a handful of breweries to brew a fresh hop beer on a national scale,” said Alex Puchner, Senior Vice President of Brewing Operations at BJ’s Restaurants. “To preserve the integrity of the flavor and optimal freshness, it’s a race against the clock to harvest the hops and get them into tanks at our regional breweries. It’s worth it, though! Fresh hops give the Field Day IPA™ an intense aroma and slightly citrus taste, which accentuates its earthy, floral flavor. Our guests look forward to this rare treat all year, so get it while you can. We expect to sell out within two weeks.”

Available beginning August 20th, BJ’s Limited Edition Field Day IPA™ Beer is $5.50 per Pint.
