SmartRecruiters Hires Daniel Lee as Director of Product
San Francisco (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- SmartRecruiters, the hiring platform, hired Daniel Lee to be the company’s Director of Product. Formerly the FarmVille Director of Product at Zynga, Lee will help to gamify recruiting technology. In Lee's three-and-a-half years at Zynga, he launched numerous features and introduced several new categories of virtual goods that now account for up to 20 to 30 percent of FarmVille's revenue in a given day.
"Gamification is all about visual representation," said Lee. "People need elements to quantify how well they are progressing on whatever they are doing. Gamification is adding that light touch to things people don't typically view as playing a game."
Gartner reported that 40 percent of Global 1000 organizations will use gamification as the primary mechanism to transform business operations by 2015.
