Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Names Songwriting and Music Business Founder Amanda Williams An Official “Pro on the Road” Educator
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), the widely recognized authority in songwriter advocacy and education has named Amanda Williams, founder of Hillbilly Culture LLC and Songwriting and Music Business dot com an official "Pro on the Road" workshop provider for the greater songwriting community.
NSAI’s Pro on the Road program is the organization’s official “stamp of approval” letting regional coordinators know that the workshops and educational materials presented by that “Pro” are recognized by the trade organization.
“I’m so proud to be recognized as a Pro on the Road,” says Williams. “As a kid growing up here in Nashville, everybody knew: if you’re a songwriter, you join NSAI, because they’re the ones advocating for us in Congress.”
Williams is daughter of Kim Williams, an NSAI lifetime member who was inducted to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 for hits such as Ain’t Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up Garth Brooks, Three Wooden Crosses Randy Travis along with over 140 million albums sold worldwide.
Look for Amanda’s first official workshop at NSAI Headquarters 1710 Roy Acuff Place, Nashville, TN 37203 on September 5th at 6:30PM. The first hour will be: “What It Really Means To Sell Your Song,” a talk from her Business of Songwriting Workshop, and Getting Started the Right Way in the New Millennium of Music Business followed by songwriting and music business Q&A.
