Agile Testing Seminar in Den Haag to Focus on Discussion of Optimal Agile QA and Testing Practices
Amsterdam, Netherlands (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Agile testing
While many software development teams are moving towards agile development, they discover that their test and QA organization also needs to be adapted. The advantages of agile development are important, but in practice they are not always easy to realize.
Short iterations are great for flexibility but how do you best fit in regression testing in an agile process?
For instance, our business reality is that we work with globally distributed teams in different time zones. How to best manage these distributed teams in an agile process?
"We find companies may be struggling with the move toward agile methods and away from more traditional development processes, especially how to best fit in QA and testing. The reasons we are holding this seminar is that the information to be presented and the group discussion will allow for a better understanding of agile testing,” says Jan Princen, Managing Director of XBOSoft.
This seminar will be a combination of speaker presentations and an informal discussion amongst peers.
Roland Fellinger, Test Coordinator and Quality Assurance Manager of TJIP, together with Vivian Wiersum, consultant at TJIP, and Shawn Shang, Project Manager for XBOSoft will share insights on managing distributed agile teams.
TJIP, founded in 1999, is an innovative company that develops high quality software for some of the world’s leading financial and healthcare organizations.
“Agile and QA seem like a tricky combination at first but we’ve learned they actually fit each other perfectly. I hope this seminar can help others implement the 5 key lessons that we’ve learned implementing Agile QA,” says Kamiel Wanrooij, Senior Vice President of Engineering at TIE Kinetix. He will discuss 5 agile tricks to boost software quality.
TIE Kinetix, founded in 1987, transforms the digital supply chain by providing Total Integrated E-commerce solutions to clients with field tested technology that maximizes revenue opportunities by minimizing energy required to market.
After the presentations those in attendance will participate in a group discussion about agile testing based on the lessons learned from the presenters.
This event is an opportunity for software development and quality assurance managers to meet and engage their peers while gaining valuable information regarding agile testing.
The seminar, hosted by XBOSOFT, will be held September 4, 2013 from 15.30 to 18.00 hrs at the Cabarello Fabriek, Den Haag, NL
