Michigan Retailers Association to Host Buy Nearby Retail Marketing Boot Camp
Lansing, MI (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) is inviting all Michigan-based retailers to a Buy Nearby Retail Marketing Boot Camp on September 13 in Grand Rapids.
The daylong seminar, led by retail marketing guru Bob Negen of Whiz Bang! Training in Grand Haven, will focus on how retailers can increase their sales by harnessing the power of Buy Nearby, the new statewide campaign created by MRA to increase traffic and sales at local retail stores.
The year-round Buy Nearby campaign will be celebrated on October 5 – Get Caught Blue-Handed Day – all across Michigan. The Buy Nearby Boot Camp will show retailers how to use Buy Nearby to increase store traffic and sales on October 5 and throughout the year.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Eberhard Center at the Grand Valley State University facility in downtown Grand Rapids. Representatives from MRA also will be on hand to answer additional questions about Buy Nearby.
