More Opportunity for Longboarders Across the America
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- As the Longboard Loft crew prepares to launch LongboardLoft.com, the East Coast explodes with wonderfully organized events for everyone from young aspiring beginners to World Cup ranked Pros!
(August 9-August 11 2013) MADISON COUNTY GRAVITY FEST WAS FAST AND FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Not only was the race course fast, burly, and sprinkled with talented racers such as Will Royce and Matt Kienzle, but Neil “Dr. No” Orta (event organizer) and the locals made the entire event a true home-grown experience.Longboard Loft Rider Dejuane Jones won 1st place in the junior division and the entire Longboard Loft crew enjoyed the company of the locals on the hill, and we all look forward to enjoying another great weekend of skating, luging, grilling, camping, and racing in 2014! Thank you Arbor Collective and Bustin Boards for sending out swag and gear for the kids! And a huge thanks to all of the volunteers and the entire American Legion Post 54 for cooking for all the hungry faces throughout the weekend!
(August 17-August 18 2013) CENTRAL MASS DH 4 WAS BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER IN 2013! The race hill is really geared for beginner downhill, and it is a great event for any rider to make for their first race! It isn’t too fast, but the hill makes for technical racing and interesting passing techniques. Longboard Loft team rider David Ramirez raced hard and won 1st place in the junior division! The slide jam was hosted on a new hill this year, and it was fast, smooth paved, and loads of fun! Liam Morgan, Alicia Fillback, Will Royce, Micaela Wilson, Dax Pradarits, and Brian Bishop were some of the top skaters amongst the massive group of 224 competitors. Longboard Loft rider Will Royce is recovering from a sprained knee and ankle after being hit by a car in Portland Oregon, yet that didn’t stop him from skating his heart out and to the top of the charts, taking home 1st place for the pro slide jam! What a Boss! On behalf of the entire Longboard Loft crew, thank you Mike Girard (event organizer), the Harvard General Store, and all the local volunteers for making the event amazing and for grilling burgers all weekend! We’ll see you next year in Harvard, Massachusetts!
