Society for Ambulatory Spine Surgery to Host 3rd Annual Meeting in Chicago
(PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- The Society for Ambulatory Spine Surgery (SASS) is pleased to announce it will host its 3rd Annual Meeting & Cocktail Reception on October 24, 2013, in Chicago.
The symposium will take place from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Montreux 1&2 rooms at the Swissotel on East Wacker Drive. The meeting's agenda will include an opening presentation by SASS Co-Founder Dr. Kenneth Pettine followed by a panel discussion on ambulatory spine clinical and business issues featuring spine surgeons, ASC administrators and ASC specialty providers.
"The SASS annual meeting brings together nationwide leaders in spine surgery, ASC operations and development to discuss challenges and opportunities facing the ambulatory spine industry today," said Dr. Pettine. "Attendees will gain a better understanding of the safety and efficacy of ambulatory spine surgery to enhance patients' quality of life and the benefits of using ASCs for spine surgery."
The meeting is being held in conjunction with the Becker's ASC Review's 20th Annual Ambulatory Surgery Centers Conference.
"We appreciate the opportunity to host our symposium as a part of the Becker's ASC Review conference," Dr. Pettine said. "Becker's ASC Review is a leading source of cutting-edge business, legal and clinical information, and its conferences bring together the best minds in the ASC industry. We look forward to informing the conference's attendees about the SASS mission and the role they can play in supporting our efforts to move more surgeries from a hospital to the ASC setting."
