A Health Savings Account is a tax-advantaged medical savings account that is available to employees enrolled in a high-deductable health plan. Participants are not subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit and may use their funds for a variety of qualified medical expenses. Additionally, unlike a Flexible Spending Account, funds roll over from year to year if not spent.
