Rockville, MD (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- Sport and Spine Rehab’s Athletic Trainer, Jena Etnoyer is now recognized by the American Red Cross as an instructor for First Aid, CPR/AED for the lay person, and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer. Jena had taught classes under the umbrella of the university she worked for previously however the American Red Cross has registered Sport and Spine Rehab as an “Authorized Provider”. This means that Sport and Spine Rehab is now a recognized site and Ms. Etnoyer will be the instructor teaching classes under the name of ”Sport & Spine Rehab.”
For Sport and Spine Rehab, this means Jena will be able to teach the certification and re-certification for our clinical staff ensuring current certification and technique. This also means that Jena can hold CPR classes for the public, or other groups. “There are many groups that require CPR certification for their employees, like assisted living homes, fitness centers and gyms. For example, Fitness First is located below our Rockville clinic. If their Personal Trainers and employees need to have CPR certification they could schedule me to teach the class.”
In addition to providing Athletic Training services for Sport and Spine Rehab, Jena is the Clinical Research Coordinator for Sport & Spine Rehab Clinical Research Foundation.
If you or your company needs CPR training, please contact Jena Etnoyer via our website or call 301 251 2777 to our Sport and Spine Rehab of Rockville location.
