Unique Shop for Expecting Moms Opens in Wyckoff
Wyckoff, NJ (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- Whether you’re a mom already or a mom-to-be, a new store in Wyckoff called Bump to Bump Maternity is ready to help you earn money or save some big bucks on your maternity wardrobe.
"Maternity clothes are often worn for about 5 months, so it's not worth it to spend a lot on a whole new wardrobe," says Heather Milton, owner of the new upscale maternity consignment store at 300 Franklin Avenue. "I wanted to help pregnant women find gently used maternity clothes that wouldn’t break the bank, but would also allow them to look their best during the one time their body makes the most significant changes."
Milton started the company online about two years ago after being disappointed in the availability of used maternity clothes locally. When the space next to Sweet Lullaby, a baby nursery and clothing store, became available recently, she jumped at the opportunity. "I’ve had such a positive reaction, so it appears there really was a need for this type of store in the area."
The store offers a wide range of maternity brands from Liz Lange, Motherhood, Gap, Pea in the Pod and designer jeans such as 7 For All Mankind. Shoppers can pick up items that may have a little more wear for under $5 in the "little more loved" section. Nursing moms will find "new" items such as PJs, bras and nursing covers. There are also shower gifts for both mom and baby. Because the company started first as a website, most of their inventory can be found online at http://www.bumptobumpmaternity.com.
Women who were pregnant within the last 5 years are encouraged to make an appointment to consign their maternity clothes and make a little cash. "We accept all seasons all the time, so we can help get all those maternity clothes out of your closet for good!"
Store hours are Tuesday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 3 pm. Evenings by appointment.
