That’s why Florida Hospital Tampa decided to offer the free three-part health series called “Half of All Women” in March, April and May of 2013. The series included: Your Hips Don’t Lie, Protect Your Bottom Line and Get Your Groove Back 2.0. “Through this series, Florida Hospital Tampa was able to showcase three key service lines: orthopedics, digestive health and women’s services in an educational and entertaining way. The Spirit of Women coalition seeks to inspire and empower women to take control of all aspects of their lives. Florida Hospital Tampa has demonstrated its commitment to be a regional and community leader in gender-sensitive healthcare and education,” said Tanya Abreu. Florida Hospital Tampa was selected as the winner of this year’s Strategic Integration of Women’s Services national award by a panel of judges appointed by Spirit of Women.
