For the second consecutive year, Bottle Rocket, an award-winning mobile solutions provider specializing in premium brand experiences, was ranked by Inc. magazine as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Bottle Rocket was ranked no. 284 on the magazine’s 32nd annual Inc. 500/5000 list.
“We’re honored to be recognized for our growth, which only comes from our incredible team successfully doing great work for top-tier national brands,” said Calvin Carter, founder and president of Bottle Rocket. “Two years ago about this time of the year, we were a company of 45 Rocketeers. Today, we’re at 162 and plan to hire another 25-30 before the end of this year.”
As of August 2013, Bottle Rocket has completed more than 100 handcrafted iPhone, iPad and Android mobile apps for leading brands including new apps recently launched for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Telemundo, USA Network, HGTV and Food Network.
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009, and have revenue no less than $2 million in 2012. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2012. The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.
