Four QHR Clients Named Among Modern Healthcare's 2013 Best Places to Work in Healthcare
Brentwood, Tenn. (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- Four Quorum Health Resources (QHR) client hospitals were recently named among Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2013: Allegan General Hospital (Allegan, MI), Franklin Foundation Hospital (Franklin, LA), King's Daughters Medical Center (Brookhaven, MS) and Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center (Chanute, KS).
This is Neosho Memorial's fifth consecutive year on Modern Healthcare's list and King's Daughters Medical Center's (KDMC's) second consecutive year on the list.
"It's an honor to partner with hospitals that understand that employee satisfaction and motivation are key to excellent patient care," said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. "Being on Modern Healthcare's distinguished list further demonstrates that these QHR client hospitals are places where patients choose to receive care and where employees want to work."
“To receive this award five years in a row tells an amazing story of dedication and on-going efforts by our Board, employees, medical staff and QHR,” said Dennis E. Franks, CEO of Neosho Memorial. "We are committed to do the right thing for our patients, physicians and employees."
King's Daughters Medical Center CEO, Alvin Hoover stated, "This is a great recognition award for KDMC. It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our employees and medical staff, and the leadership of our Board and management team."
According to Modern Healthcare, the recognition program, now in its sixth year, honors workplaces throughout the healthcare industry. The program is co-sponsored by the Studer Group, a nationally recognized organization that promotes best practices within healthcare. Winning employment providers must rank high in the categories of employee engagement and satisfaction. Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2013 at a banquet in Atlanta on Oct. 24. The supplement will be published on Oct. 28 issue.
