Merchant Services Company CPN USA Donates Water To Homeless
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) August 23, 2013 -- CPN USA, a nationwide merchant services company based in Phoenix, recently undertook a bottled water drive on behalf of Hope on The Streets (HOTS). The HOTS charity assists the homeless with essential needs such as food and water, as well as basic living supplies.
“The CPN Team was able to contribute 75 cases of water, as well as a large number of toothbrushes, snacks, and toiletries,” said Lori Barbarotto, Human Resources Manager at CPN. “Additionally, our employees provided cash donations, water flavoring packets, and toothpaste for some of our most vulnerable community members.”
Founded in 2008, Hope on the Streets is an outreach ministry of Fellowship Church to assist the homeless with food, water and basic living supplies. Members of HOTS go to downtown Phoenix to provide clothing, toiletries, blankets and supplies to over 100 homeless people each week.
The city of Phoenix typically sees over 100 days every year where the temperature exceeds 100 degrees. The risk of dehydration and heatstroke in the homeless community is very high, so a ready supply of water is essential. CPN’s donation to the HOTS program is one of many charitable initiatives in the CPN Gives Back program, where a portion of our revenue is donated to worthy local, national, and international causes.
