Broadway Shows in the DC Area: SuperStarTickets.com Reveals Theatre Tickets for Upcoming Washington DC Shows
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- New York isn't the only place to catch a Broadway musical. With summer winding down, people in the DC area can look forward to several touring productions of popular musicals making their way to the beltway. SuperStarTickets has seats available to the Kennedy Center and National Theatre, two popular venues for musical tours.
"If/Then" is the highly anticipated new musical starring Idina Menzel of "Rent", "Wicked", and "Glee" fame. The show celebrates its Pre-Broadway world premiere when it opens at the National Theatre on November 5th. "If/Then" tells the story of a woman moving back to New York City, and the choices and chance that affect her life. "If/Then" tickets are limited, with the DC engagement only playing through December 8th, and SuperStarTickets has seats available.
The Kennedy Center has an appealing lineup in the coming months. Shows with tour stops include "Million Dollar Quartet" in late September—which tells the story of the recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. The national tour of the "Sister Act" musical, based on the Whoopi Goldberg movie, will make its stop on October 29th with a week-and-a-half engagement. Approaching the holiday season, the Kennedy Center will host "Elf", based on the Will Farrell movie, in their opera house. Their Eisenhower theatre will show "Flashdance the Musical", based on the 1983 film of the same name.
Musical fans can stay close to home with the show tours coming to the DC area, and can save big when they shop for Theatre Tickets in Washington DC at SuperStarTickets.com.
