Onboard Informatics Launches Startup Wars, Invests $500K toward Future of Real Estate
New York, New York (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Local content leader Onboard Informatics is now accepting applications for Startup Wars, a program that will invest up to $500,000 in local content and consulting to support the newest wave of real estate startups.
“With the recent boom in real estate startup activity, the question we all want to know is: who will be the next Trulia or Zillow?” said Marc Siden, CEO of Onboard Informatics. “We once fought through a recession as a startup 11 years ago. Today we share in the responsibility to support the next wave of game-changers for our industry.”
The contest encourages startups that could benefit from contextual Community, School, Points of Interest, Lifestyle, and Market Trends data to apply via the Startup Wars website.
Onboard Informatics plans to review each company’s history, advisory board, and business model to measure its fitness for program. In addition to receiving data at only a non-commercial licensing fee, approved startups will be eligible for free implementation consulting based on Onboard’s web, mobile, and tablet engagement best practices built from working with the top brands in real estate since 2001.
“Over the years we’ve watched our clients go public, win awards, and grow from single state brokerages to top 5 brands,” Siden said. “We know firsthand the challenges a startup faces in its inception and we are excited to find new ways to help the new crop of visionaries improve the real estate transaction.”
Space is limited and will be granted to best applicants based on business model and time to market. To apply, visit http://www.startup-wars.com .
