Chicago Hockey Star Bryan Bickell to Play Video Games With Fans
(PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Chicago hockey fans will get a chance to meet star winger Bryan Bickell, and maybe even race him in a game of Mario Kart. Bickell will greet fans and join a Mario Kart tournament from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm local time on Saturday September 7th at the Uncle Bob’s self storage facility located at 1401 N. Plum Grove Rd. in Schaumburg, IL 60173.
“Bryan has become a Chicago favorite and we know the team played Mario Kart during their Stanley Cup run, so the event seemed like a natural fit,” said Tom Dahlin, Area Manager of Uncle Bob’s Self Storage Chicago facilities. “This is bound to be a fun event for the community and we can’t wait to see Bryan and a lucky fan in action.”
Registration for the Mario Kart tournament runs from 1:00 - 1:50 pm, and 16 participants will be selected randomly. The tournament begins at 2:00 pm and the winner will then race Bickell. Participants will play on a mobile gaming truck provided by Rolling Video Games of Chicago.

Bryan Bickell plays left wing for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Bickell was instrumental in the Chicago’s 2012 Stanley Cup victory as he finished with 17 points in 23 playoff games. The Blackhawks drafted Bickell in 2004 from the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League.
