National Hispanic Sales Network (NHSN) Announces 2013 Conference and Career Fair for Sales and Marketing Professionals and Students
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- Citing Latino professional and student interest in sales and marketing careers, and US corporate interest in building multicultural and bilingual sales teams, NHSN has announced its 2013 National Conference and Career Fair. The conference will take place September 18-20, at the Congress Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, in downtown Chicago.
“This conference helps us fulfill our mission, which is to advance the careers and business opportunities for Hispanic and Latino sales and marketing professionals,” says Alejandro Talancon, President and current Board Chair.
The conference begins with a Wednesday, September 18 evening Welcome Reception. Thursday, September 19 has several presentations on professional development, personal growth and networking. Four panels, featuring representatives from a number of industries, are featured. Keynote speakers include the well-known Tsi-Tsi Felix and renowned motivational speaker and “buyologist” Victor Antonio.
The evening includes a Gala Dinner and awards for NHSN Awards Sales and Leadership excellence. This year’s award winners are Ivan Hidalgo – Consumer Goods (Beam), Carlos Cardenas – Financial Services (Wintrust), Jose Garcia – Technology (Xerox) and Angelica Medley – Healthcare and Pharmaceutical (Astellas).
Friday, September 20 is the Diversity Career Fair. Twenty-five companies and organizations will be recruiting Latino/a professionals and students with jobs and careers. The Friday Career Fair is free. Full conference registration is not required to attend the Friday Career Fair, but the Career Fair is included in conference registration.
