The sky is the limit when it comes to inventions. Car Rental Express would like to share some thoughts as to what sort of things cars should be capable of these days. It is nearly 2014 and there are many functions that cars should be able to accomplish - below is a list of some of these:
- Parallel parking is difficult for many people. Faulty parallel parking causes most dents and scratches. Therefore, it would make sense for the wheels on a vehicle to be able to rotate sideways so that the car can literally slide into a spot, horizontally. Drivers wouldn’t have to pull up beside the car in front, turn the steering wheel this way and that and then ‘pray’ that the car behind isn’t going to be hit. Sliding in sideways would be much more convenient.
- Cars should also be able to self-park. There should be sensors around the vehicle so that the driver can push a “Park” button prompting the car to slide into the spot on its own. This may be in the works already.
- Cars should have a special compartment where drinks can be instantly cooled and then kept cool. Many people leave bottles of water and other beverages in a vehicle for extended periods of time. This can be dangerous, when using plastic bottles, particularly in the summer when the vehicle gets hot and hence the liquid in the bottle also warms up. The plastic emits dangerous chemicals into the drink hence hindering the person who drinks it. Keeping drinks cool would solve this problem.
In a perfect world, vehicles would be able to do the laundry, make dinner and babysit the kids…. This is far away from happening though.
