“It's our job, and the public adjuster’s job, to help people get what they're owed.

Attorney Jeffrey Raizner has been invited to speak at the annual Fall Conference of TAPIA, the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. Raizner works nationwide to help commercial property owners receive fair compensation from insurance companies when filing damage claims. Raizner specializes in insurance bad faith.
TAPIA members are public insurance adjusters (PA's) who work on behalf of commercial and residential property owners to maximize what they are paid for damages from fires, storms, floods and disasters. Typically PA's are hired by commercial and residential property owners or lawyers to give an independent opinion on the extent and value of damage.
Raizner is a founding partner of Doyle Raizner LLP and has built his career on helping commercial and residential property owners fight claims that were denied, delayed or undervalued by insurance companies.
“This year has been a tough one for Texans and I'm happy to help TAPIA in their work to protect homeowners and business owners,” Raizner said. “With the numerous storms, tornadoes and industrial disasters; it is our job to make sure policyholders can rebuild and continue on.”
Raizner’s topic is “Cutting Edge Ethical Issues Affecting Public Insurance Adjusters” and will brief attendees on the industry’s ethical obligations.
“Insurance companies have an interest in paying out the least possible,” Raizner said. “It's our job, and the public adjuster’s job, to help people get what they're owed. Insurance companies use increasingly deceptive tactics and we have to know how to respond to those.”
The conference will be held October 10 – 11 at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio. Sessions at the conference count as six hours of continuing education credit.
