The patient TVs on the new Surgical Care Unit at Florida Hospital Carrollwood provide more than just entertainment. Patients can watch television, surf the internet, order their meals, communicate with nurses and most importantly, access health and wellness information, all through an interactive patient care system called the GetWellNetwork®.

By providing patients with tools like the GetWellNetwork, Florida Hospital Carrollwood is helping patient’s take more control of their healing process. In addition, this technology helps to improve hospital staff efficiencies so they can spend even more time at the bedside caring for their patients.

GetWellNetwork is one of many innovative features of Florida Hospital Carrollwood’s Surgical Care Unit. The 25-bed, all private room unit also includes many of the latest safety features for patient care; Florida Hospital Carrollwood is taking a lead on creating the safe hospital of the future.
