Italian Olive Oil Producer Bellucci Premium Comments on Recent Patents Pending for Olive Oil
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- On August 26, Bellucci Premium reacts to an article that discusses sought after patents for olive related products.
According to an August 19th article published by The Olive Oil Times titled, “Fortifying Donkey Milk with Olive Oil, and Other Inventions,” there are many international patents that are pending for olive oil and olive oil products such as a machine that will allows restaurants to make olive oil in house.
The article shares these patents that are pending that include olive oil:
• Olive Oil extract in drinks- A Japanese Company has claimed to develop an extract to add to their drinks that has a heavy antioxidant level that is derived from olive oil.
• At home olive oil making machine- A machine has been created in Spain that would allow people at home or in restaurants to make olive oil from olive paste. Simple to operate, this machine would require minimal knowledge to operate.
• Olive Oil infused donkey milk- For children who are allergic to cow milk; donkey milk is used as a supplement. The low fat content of this milk makes it less beneficial so a solution was created in Greece. A powdered form of donkey milk fortified with extra virgin olive oil is trying to get approval.
• Easier ways to mass produce stuffed olives- Instead of being hand stuffed a machine has been invented to help speed up the process. “Compared to some existing alternatives, it has fewer parts and is thus practical and simple, has a low manufacturing cost, and the pimiento (or other food) stays inside the olives for much longer, it is claimed,” says the article.
“With the culture of olive oil growing it is no surprise that different inventions and patents are being explored,” says Natalie Sexenian, Marketing Manager for Italian olive oil producer Bellucci Premium. “The important thing to remember as new olive oil products hit the market is to always check the authenticity. Just because it says extra virgin olive oil it doesn’t mean that it is authentic. It could be mislabeled.”
Bellucci offers three different types of oil, including an organic option, with a mild peppery flavor and fruity undertones that will satisfy any palate. Bellucci Premium Toscano extra virgin olive oil uses olives that are grown on the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, and maintained by 3rd and 4th generation farmers. The third type of oil Bellucci produces is the finest 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, grown in many different regions of Italy.
