Augmented and Virtual Reality the Highlights of SAE International Symposium slated for Stuttgart, Germany
Warrendale, Pa. (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- With a theme of “The Value Proposition for Design, Manufacturing and Production,” SAE International is set to host the “2013 Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Technologies Symposium,” Nov. 20-21 at the Pullman Stuttgart Fontana in Stuttgart, Germany.
This two-day symposium will focus on the technical, economic, and implementation aspects of AR/VR in all facets of design, production and manufacturing. Attendees will learn about the challenges and opportunities AR/VR presents to those interested in exploring these technologies within those operations.
Experts from the Automotive, Aerospace, Commercial Vehicle and Marine industries will provide case studies that showcase their utilization of AR/VR. They will address any challenges they have overcome, as well as discuss the barriers they foresee in integrating this technology economically throughout their design, production and manufacturing operations. Two panel discussions, 1) Quantifying and Communicating the Business Value of AR/VR, and 2) Current and Future State of AR/VR Technologies, complete the symposium program.
