Los Angles, CA (PRWEB) August 27, 2013
(mt) Media Temple, a leading provider of web hosting and cloud services, has ranked on the Los Angeles Business Journal 2013 list of the best places to work for the sixth time since 2007. The Best Places to Work in Los Angeles is an annual celebration of employers who have proven that they know what it takes to create environments where people love come to work. A pioneer of the L.A. tech scene, Media Temple, which is turning 15 years old this year, has also earned yet another spot on the annual Inc. 500|5000 list, thus joining the elite group of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies and independent entrepreneurs for the seventh consecutive year.
“Being recognized, once again, as one of the top companies to work for is a testament to our dedication to both our customers and the extraordinary people behind the (mt) brand and the unmatched client support Media Temple is known for,” said Russell P. Reeder, President and COO of Media Temple. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 15-year anniversary within the Los Angeles/Silicon Beach tech community.”
Demian Sellfors, Co-Founder and CEO of Media Temple remarked: “Operating in a highly competitive space, our company has grown primarily through word-of-mouth among web professionals. We are absolutely thrilled to be recognized by the Inc. 500|5000 list for the seventh time in a row. Our continued success has simply been driven by our ability to meet and exceed our customers’ needs year after year.”
In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2013 Inc. 500|5000 companies is an impressive 142 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion.
Those two industry accolades come on the heels of Media Temple’s recent launch of CloudTech™ Premium Support, a unique, in-depth customer service provided by engineers at the application code level, and the upgrading of the company's flagship hosting platform, the GRID.
