The Gotya app for Symbian turns an estimated 200 million S60 5.0 and Symbian^3 devices into smart motion detection cameras for a wide range of photo surveillance uses, including home, business, and remote property monitoring. The Gotya app for Windows Phone (WP) 7 and 8 includes the motion detection camera plus the camera remote controller. Symbian and WP cameras can be controlled from WP7, WP8, and the Web.
Gotya costs a fraction of conventional photo and video surveillance solutions, is ad-free, and is a private service that doesn’t share, rent or sell users account information, pictures or metadata. Only an email address is required to create a Gotya cloud service account.
Gotya for Symbian and Windows Phone is priced at an introductory $1.99 for a limited time and can be installed on multiple devices under the same Microsoft or Nokia ID, further reducing the per camera cost. The optional Gotya cloud service is available for free for 60 days. Ongoing subscriptions are available for as little as $1/month.
