American born Muslim fashion designer Seema Sahin, the designer behind MODERNMARY, has showcased her women’s fashion line on the runway in various fashion shows from NYC to DC. The brand caters to women looking for stylish yet modest clothing featuring higher necklines, flowy silhouettes and longer hemlines.

After launching the modest fashion brand back in 2008, Seema Sahin, founder and designer of MODERNMARY, noticed that women of various faiths were eager to buy her designs. “Modesty is not just a movement or a trend, rather how a women feels, acts, and expresses herself. My concept balances the desire to be fashionable while being true to the self. MODERNMARY designs speak to all women,” says designer Seema. As a Muslim women living in the US, she recognized a much needed market in the fashion industry which motivated her to launch her collection. Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Bahai women, are among the few faiths that seek out designs by MODERNMARY.

The brand, MODERNMARY, offers professional, casual, and formal women's apparel. Size is not an issue; when shopping online, the brand offers Plus sizes along with custom sizes for tall women. The online boutique also carries fine sterling silver jewelry, cotton and silk scarves.
