Suite 34

I was overwhelmed when we stepped into our suite, it was so beautiful and I felt so spoilt.

Stanwell House, one of the most beautiful hotels in Lymington, has designed and opened a brand new suite in order to fulfill popular demand. Proprietors Robert Milton and Victoria Crowe, who have worked tirelessly over the past 5 years to improve and renovate the beautiful townhouse say their standards won’t stop rising. ‘We’re always on the look out for ways to improve, keeping the atmosphere fresh and exciting for guests is very important to us so we’re delighted to open Suite 34’ Says Victoria.

What makes Suite 34 so special?

Known to guests as ‘The Black and White room’, Its monochrome colour palette and crisp lines now make it one of Stanwell House Hotels most popular and sought after rooms.

The Suite is divided into 3 rooms which all connect in an open plan style - A spacious entrance including a 2 seater settee, perfect for morning coffee and an update of news on the flat screen TV. Picasso art work hangs above the day chair and New Forest water will await one complimentary on arrival.

The kingsize bed is dressed in fluffy black and grey pillows and the white, Egyptian cotton bed sheets are particularly inviting after an evening in Wytes bar, perhaps. The black, contemporary feature wall, behind the bed works beautifully against the dark carpet and surrounding white walls. The stunning sparkling white bathroom features a large bath and separate double shower to accommodate both tastes and the Molten Brown miniatures add that final touch of elegance.

The Suite boasts a large high street facing box sash window so there is a wonderful feeling of being at the heart of the town’s hustle and bustle, however the street is incredibly quiet during the night.

The Chandelier and romantically themed bedside lamps create a cosy and inviting environment, which is why the suite is often chosen for the honeymoon suite.

As expected, Suite 34 in the New Forest boutique hotel has already had a lot of fantastic feedback, with one guest Claudia Short saying ‘I was overwhelmed when we stepped into our suite, it was so beautiful and I felt so spoilt, my boyfriend chose very well!’

The New Forest Hotel Stanwell House also has 6 stunning suites, 4 with their own terrace overlooking the gardens, 3 beautiful four poster rooms and 21 Georgian and Garden rooms. Located just a minute from the harbour and a 30 minute boat trip to the Isle Of Wight, it’s easy to understand why Lymington is such a popular holiday destination. A five minute drive will get one to the New Forest which is now a National Park and a great location for hikers, dog walkers and cycle enthusiasts.

Dining at Stanwell House is a must, with the choice between a Seafood Restaurant, a stunning bar, called ‘Drydock’, and a contemporary Bistro which offers modern European dining, there’s something for everyone.

As you would expect from a luxury Lymington hotel, Stanwell House is an excellent venue for weddings and private functions. Outstanding attentive service and a wealth of personal touches ensure all guests have a wonderful relaxing and memorable break.
