trueAnthem, a leader in viral content tracking and social influence, has received $2.6 million in equity financing from CrunchFund, Core Ventures Group and private investors.

This year, trueAnthem was issued a U.S. Patent for technology that identifies and analyzes social influence, and received a Gold Award from the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) for advances in measuring and generating insights from earned media.
According to Nielsen's Global Trust in Advertising Survey study, 92 percent of consumers trust earned media—such as recommendations from friends and family through social media websites—over all other types of advertising.
