It is important to me to give my patients natural, healthy-looking results. I want my patients to look rejuvenated and well-rested, not plastic.
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2013
In a new article published on FacialPlastics.info, Babak Azizzadeh, MD, FACS, and Director of the CENTER for Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills discusses a new app geared toward plastic surgery. The new app called Plastic Surgery Simulator allows users to upload a photo of themselves and then see what they would look like if they underwent certain cosmetic procedures.
“We use a similar technology in the office during plastic surgery consultations. This app may be a great way for a patient seeking, say, a rhinoplasty to play around with the look they want before actually undergoing surgery,” said Dr. Azizzadeh.
This app is not going to be as advanced or accurate as the technology used by facial plastic surgeons like Dr. Azizzadeh, but it may help patients decide if they do in fact want surgery and what kind of look they desire. Users of the app can manipulate the shape and size of their chin, cheekbones, and nose, and even see how they’d look with Botox injections.
“I think this may be especially useful for those people considering a rhinoplasty or chin augmentation, as those types of procedures often have a dramatic affect on one’s appearance. Being able to take your time to see how you look with a certain sized nose or specific chin shape will help patients better explain to their surgeon what they want,” explained Dr. Babak Azizzadeh, expert facial plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Azizzadeh is known for his natural-looking facial plastic surgery results. From facelift to brow lift to chin implant, he strives to give every patient the look they desire without making them look like they have had work done. He also provides a number of non-invasive cosmetic procedures at his practice as well.
“It is important to me to give my patients natural, healthy-looking results. I want my patients to look rejuvenated and well-rested, not plastic,” said Dr. Azizzadeh.
