The workshop will focus on cold chain packaging design and how the application requirements impact the final design
Edison, NJ (PRWEB) August 29, 2013
Cryopak, known for their excellence in cold chain packaging, will be conducting a workshop at this year’s Cold Chain & Temperature Management Summit September 30-October 4, 2013 in McCormick Place Chicago. The workshop, titled Cold Chain Packaging Design – a 360-degree review how organizational requirements can affect cold chain packaging design and performance and cost, will be led by Anthony Alleva, Associate Technical Director.
“The workshop will focus on cold chain packaging design and how the application requirements impact the final design,” Alleva said. “We will discuss and review issues and concerns presented to packaging provider design teams from the perspectives of Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Distribution and Engineering.”
The workshop is intended to promote interaction between the audience and the presenters through hands-on design demonstrations.
What you will learn:
- What are the main application requirements that impact package design, performance, and cost
- Gain a better perspective on issues and concerns of other organizational disciplines
- Understand which tradeoffs to consider in deciding the best design for the application
How you will benefit:
- Take advantage of other departments' knowledge and information in cold chain packaging design
- How to effectively utilize information (internal company knowledge) from the other sectors i.e. QA, purchasing, distribution warehousing etc. using real examples regarding what can be done with information and data provided by other sectors and how it affects packaging designs and performances
- Cost benefits associated with superior collaboration between groups.
Join Anthony Alleva for his workshop on Cold Chain Packaging Design – a 360-degree review how organizational requirements can affect cold chain packaging design and performance and cost on Tuesday, October 1 for Workshop F at 3:15 pm.
